Patrick is considered an “Urban Painter”.* He depicts scenes from urban environments, challenging the viewer to see them through a different lens. Mundane objects taken for grated by most are featured in his hyper realistic style of painting.*

So many of his oils are inspired by the city of Philadelphia, where he lives and works. Philadelphia is not the only city he has chosen to render. Patrick also has painted scenes from Baltimore, Pittsburgh, NYC, Denver, Washington, D.C. and Denver. Depicting rural scenes in Lancaster and seascapes from Maine, is a nice change of venue for the artist.
